Sloppy sketch - Graceyn Shepard

LOOK AT THAT ADVENTUROUS ANGLE. I mean...
This woman is the main character in =Graceyn's Mass Effect fic, If It Meant Living. I drew her once before, but while at the time I liked that chibi, it was way too simple and careless. I enjoy both the game and the fic, so I wanted to do honor them with something a little more elaborate. This isn't exactly the peak of artistry, but it's an improvement, right? Right? Proper fanart will exist in some future. I don't think I'll get tired of drawing her anytime soon. After all, I got the impression that many, if not most, of Graceyn's fans are writers themselves, so I'm taking the responsibility of providing lots of fanart.
I'll admit, I mixed elements from different parts of the plot. The hairstyle and outfit are from the ME3 part, because I like them most. However, I really wanted to draw one of the fish scenes, because they're some of the most iconic in the fic to me, at least among the ones I could draw. Those fish were the only witnesses to some of the Commander's most vulnerable moments, which happened during the ME2 storyline. Once the Kaidude is back and Graceyn has had time to accept her... new self, so to speak, they start witnessing a different kind of moments.

I hope I did her justice this time.
