Chibi fairy

   I made this as my half of an art trade with one of my students. The scanner killed the colors and I may have gone a little too far trying to bring them back, but since it looks bad no matter what I do, I prefer the saturated kind of bad. It's the one that looks closer to the real version, as long as you don't zoom in much.
  Scanner shenanigans aside, I'm rather pleased with the outcome of this project. The palette is more adventurous than I usually dare, and I managed to make sense of the hair more than usual. I also think I combined more colors than usual for shading, and made some gradients I wasn't necessarily comfortable with. I still have to work on the anatomy. Maybe now that holidays are coming up.
